SO, at 11am, on June 19 our Wasatch Back Relay team started in Logan, UT. The Wasatch Back is a Ragnar Relay of 188 miles from Logan, UT to Park City, UT. There are 12 people on a team. Our team consisted of people that I work with, and other friends. It was such a great experience! I ran 3 different legs of 7ish miles up Avon pass, it was a pretty steep dirt road, then I ran in the dark leaving Morgan, UT and I ran about 4ish, then the next morning I ran almost 3 in Heber City. It was a really fun race! I'm glad that I did it, even though I only slept for 2 hours in a high school gym, that was lined with people. (It was hot and sweaty, and stinky, and seemed similar to a concentration camp!) We showered, slept, I ate a spaghetti breakfast at 4:30, 5 am. I had so much fun, that I'm running the Las Vegas Ragnar in October with some family! IT will be fun, and I'm starting to train again! But it was fun to know that I DID IT!
Frightmares!
