Pahsimeroi Ranch with my stellar siblings & cousins!

Well, back in June sometime, I had a wonderful get-away with my siblings and a couple cousins. We had some fun adventures, cleaning out the house, yard, putting in a new pump, moving cows, racing, building forts, laughing, watching movies, swimming in the ponds, building fence...everything fun a ranch has to offer! I loved it!

Wasatch Back - Ragnar, June 19-20, 2009

SO, at 11am, on June 19 our Wasatch Back Relay team started in Logan, UT. The Wasatch Back is a Ragnar Relay of 188 miles from Logan, UT to Park City, UT. There are 12 people on a team. Our team consisted of people that I work with, and other friends. It was such a great experience! I ran 3 different legs of 7ish miles up Avon pass, it was a pretty steep dirt road, then I ran in the dark leaving Morgan, UT and I ran about 4ish, then the next morning I ran almost 3 in Heber City. It was a really fun race! I'm glad that I did it, even though I only slept for 2 hours in a high school gym, that was lined with people. (It was hot and sweaty, and stinky, and seemed similar to a concentration camp!) We showered, slept, I ate a spaghetti breakfast at 4:30, 5 am. I had so much fun, that I'm running the Las Vegas Ragnar in October with some family! IT will be fun, and I'm starting to train again! But it was fun to know that I DID IT!

Moab! June 9-11

So a few weeks ago...June 9-11 I went with three of my girlfriends down to Moab. Two of my roommates: Rebecca Permann, and Tresa Olson and a co-worker, Marian Peterson. We camped, rafted on the Colorado, and shot guns, and took the Tacoma up Baby Lion's Back. It was a great trip with the girls, we had a blast!

Home Sweet Home, May 20-26

May 20-26th I was able to go home because my younger brother Jay, was graduating from Dear ole' Melba High! I had a fantastic trip at home and was able to do everything I wanted...the only thing I didn't do was go for a horse ride. Thursday I went on a bear hunt, we treed a bear, but I decided he was too little to shoot. I helped my dad irrigate, went on a 4 mile run with Natalie, water-skiing with Uncle Mike, Singles Ward Rodeo, where I basically won every event that I was in (thanks to my teammates), rode the mechanical bull, got knocked down by a steer, and had cow dung all over me...totally worth it! (PS, if you ever go to one of those, you have got to participate, it makes is so much more fun! Most of the people at that rodeo were by-standers lame! I went swimming with my family, cousins, aunt, & uncle who were in town for a baby blessing. Monday night my family went on a great 4-wheeler and motorcycle trip into the Owyhees, we gathered dead sage brush, built a fire & roasted hotdogs! It was so fun! I also watched Eli play baseball, and strike everyone out--the kid is a natural! It was such a fantastic trip home. I love my family, and miss them. Sometimes I think I should move back to the Boise area...but it just doesn't feel right yet. We'll see what the future brings. Well, my next trip will be to Moab this week, man I have a great, adventurous life, and I am so blessed!
